Where is Hotel Panoramico located?
Hotel Panoramico is located in Madonna del Sasso, in the hamlet of Boleto, high above Lake Orta. The position makes it easy to reach the Madonna del Sasso sanctuary, Lake Maggiore, the Colline Novaresi hills and Monte Mottarone.
How do I reach the hotel?
We're in Boleto, a hamlet of Madonna del Sasso. By car, enter "Boleto (Madonna del Sasso), incrocio Garibaldino Riotti" in your sat nav. The nearest airport is Milano Malpensa; a paid shuttle is available on request.
How far is the hotel from the lake?
The lake is about an 8-minute drive away.
How far is the Madonna del Sasso Sanctuary?
The Madonna del Sasso Sanctuary is about an 8-minute walk away.
Can you walk to the lake from the hotel?
Yes, you can walk down to the lake: the descent takes about an hour, while the climb back up, more demanding, takes about an hour and a half. If you'd rather not walk, the lake is also just a few minutes away by car.
Does the hotel offer a shuttle service?
A paid shuttle service to and from the airport and station is available on request.
Is the hotel adults only?
Yes, Hotel Panoramico is an adults-only property, ideal for those seeking a quieter, more relaxed and private environment.
Is Hotel Panoramico suitable for a romantic weekend?
Yes. Hotel Panoramico is especially well suited to couples looking for a romantic stay on Lake Orta, thanks to its panoramic position, quiet atmosphere, double rooms and the option to combine the stay with the SPA.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 2:30 to 11:00 pm, check-out by 11:00 am.
Is breakfast included, and what time is it served?
Yes, rates are on a Bed & Breakfast basis; breakfast is served from 8:00 to 10:00 am.
Do you offer half board or full board?
These plans aren't offered, except for a few special packages that include them.
Are products available for guests with food intolerances?
A few packaged products are available; please contact us directly for more information.
Are there rooms with a lake view?
Rooms with a panoramic view and rooms with a garden view are available. Rooms with a balcony are recommended for those who want to make the most of the Lake Orta atmosphere.
Do the beds have a mattress topper?
Yes, all the hotel's beds are fitted with a mattress topper.
Is there air conditioning?
No, the rooms don't have air conditioning, but they are fitted with ceiling fans.
Which TV channels are available?
Italian digital terrestrial TV channels are available; satellite TV is not provided.
Is there a fridge in the room?
No, rooms are not equipped with a fridge; please contact reception for any needs.
Does the hotel have a swimming pool?
No, Hotel Panoramico does not have a swimming pool. The in-house Kairos SPA does have hydromassage tubs.
Is there a spa?
Yes, the Kairos SPA is inside the hotel, bookable for a fee, from €30.
Is the SPA private?
The SPA is not for exclusive use, but entry is limited and by reservation only. This allows for a more orderly, quiet and relaxing experience.
What's included with SPA access?
Access to the Kairos SPA includes the Finnish sauna, steam bath, emotional shower, contrast shower, hydromassage tubs, the relax room with salt wall, herbal tea area and solarium. The Bagno di Bacco and massages are not included and can be booked separately, and nor is the SPA kit (€10 per person).
Can I access the solarium on its own?
The solarium can only be used with SPA entry, not on its own.
Can I access just the sauna?
No, the sauna can also only be used with SPA access, not on its own.
How far in advance do I need to book a SPA treatment?
All treatments can be booked with at least 24 hours' notice.
What are the restaurant's opening hours?
The restaurant is open for dinner every day, from 7:30 to 9:00 pm; on Saturdays and Sundays it's also open for lunch, from 12:30 to 2:00 pm. Booking is required, especially if you'd like to secure a table with a view.
Is the restaurant open to non-hotel guests too?
Yes, the restaurant welcomes outside guests as well, not just those staying at the hotel.
Are gluten-free or vegan dishes available?
Our kitchen focuses on local cuisine and doesn't offer a dedicated gluten-free or vegan menu. Feel free to contact us to ask about possible adjustments to our dishes based on your needs.
Can I buy a gift voucher?
Yes, gift vouchers are available for a hotel stay, for the restaurant and for the Kairos SPA — a perfect idea for a special gift.
Are pets allowed in the hotel or the restaurant?
No, pets are not allowed either in the hotel or in the restaurant.
Is smoking allowed?
No, it's a non-smoking property.
Is there a lift? Is the property accessible to guests with disabilities?
No, the property does not have a lift and is therefore not suitable for guests with disabilities or reduced mobility.
Is the property monitored by video surveillance?
Yes, common areas are covered by a 24-hour video surveillance system.
Is there parking?
Yes, the hotel has free private parking, uncovered.
Are there electric car charging stations?
No, there are no charging stations on site; the nearest ones are 300 metres away, at the Madonna del Sasso Sanctuary car park.
